Adams County, Pennsylvania

  A presentation on the battle of Hunterstown will be given by Mike Vallone, a Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and historian.  The presentation will last approximately 1 hour and is free to the public.  It will be given at the Cornerstone Worship Center, 888 Coleman Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

  His presentation is scheduled March 18^th, 2010 at 7 PM.

“The Battle of Hunterstown”

  A day filled with history in motion.  We will have the PA 16th Volunteers living encampment, various re-enactors, informative presentations, authors and local craftsmen and a guided tour of the North Cavalry Battlefield site.  This event will be held at the Tate Farm in Hunterstown, PA.  Food will be available, so bring your appetite!  Parking will be provided off of Granite Station Road.

  The event will be held July 1^st, 2010.  Festivities start at 11 AM and will last until 4 PM.

6^th Annual “Historic Walk and Circling Camp”

  This day has been scheduled to honor our area veterans, both past and present.  We will have an Honor Guard, speakers and a formal ceremony.  The event will last approximately 1 hour and will be held at the Cornerstone Worship Center, 888 Coleman Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

  The program will be held November 11^th, 2010, at 11 AM.

  A presentation will be given by Dave Shupe on the Studebaker Family.  The presentation will last  approximately 1 hour and is free to the public.  It will be given at the Cornerstone Worship Center, 888 Coleman Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

  The presentation is scheduled October 21^st, 2010, at 7 PM.

  The Hunterstown Historical Society will have a booth at the “Battle of Hunterstown” Re-enactment held on July 4th, 2010.  Please stop in, we will have our gift shop items on display.
